Holy macaroni, these sliders are the bomb diggity. I make makes these turkey burgers for myself at least once a week. They are my specialty and they make me drool every single time! I just added a few extra things like the fried onions and an egg to make it a full meal and well, look at these pictures?!

These little guys came together in 15 minutes, including grilling time. All you need to do is add seasoning and onions, form the patties and throw them on the grill. They are super juicy and delicious. I just ate 2 sliders and I am debating on making another TWO patties. It is just so good. Make these.

Crispy Onion Sliders

Ingredients
  • Sliders
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of finely minced yellow onion or dried onions
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Crispy Onions
  • 1 small onions, spiralized
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons cococnut flour
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • dash black pepper
  • 1 eggs, whisked
  • olive or coconut oil for frying
Instructions
Sliders
  1. Heat up grill or skillet to medium high heat.
  2. Place all ingredients for the sliders in a bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Make into 8 small flat patties.
  4. Press thumb into the middle of the burger to keep from rising while cooking.
  5. Place on grill to cook on both sides for 4-6 minutes, until cooked through and no longer pink.
  6. While the burgers cook, fry up some eggs to put on top!
Crispy Onions
  1. In a shallow dish combine almond flour , coconut flour and seasonings.
  2. In bowl, whisk egg.
  3. Dip onions into eggs, then into almond flour mixture. (in batches)
  4. Cover the bottom of a skillet with oil and heat to medium-high.
  5. Fry onions in batches for 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with some salt.
Assemble sliders
  1. To assemble, lay the lettuce down first, followed by two patties, sirracha, a fried egg and than crispy onions on top. Enjoy!
